after buying new brake calipers for my vw polo.I decided to paint them and chose red. I cleaned them with Isopropanol(twice) ,to remove any oil and dirt from their production, then used silicon bungs for all the holes,Gave them a sand down to key the surface. I sprayed them 4 times in total allowing 1 hour between coats ( on a warm day) o make sure they were dry for each coat. Although I have yet to fit them I allowed time for them to cure amd harden.I couldnt have asked for a better finish. They were so good my Grandson was convinced i had purchased them ,until i showed him the paint areosols. I have one can left and intend to do the same for the rear calipers and possibly even the engine mounts I cannot recommend the gloss spray paint enough.Just take your time and plan ahead. I done mine 2 month ago for its November MOT. Very quick delivery and a great price
